1.Shabnim Ismail

Former South African pace bowler Shabnim Ismail bowled the fastest delivery ever recorded in women’s cricket.

The South African player is representing Mumbai Indians. Shabnim bowled the second ball of the third over at a speed of 132.1 kmph(82.08 mph)) at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi.

Shabnim Ismail bowled a ball that clocked 132.1 km/h (82.1 mph) on the speed gun in WPL 2024 match played in March,2024.

In international cricket too, the fastest delivery recorded is by Ismail, when she bowled one at 128kph against West Indies in 2016 and had breached the 127kph mark twice in the 2022 ODI World Cup.

Ismail, 35, retired from international cricket in May 2023, months after the home T20 World Cup to end a 16-year career. She played 241 international games for 317 wickets across formats, which included 127 ODIs, 113 T20Is and a Test. She is now a regular in T20 leagues around the world.

2. Ellyse Perry

Australian pacer Ellyse Perry has set a new record in the history of women’s T20 cricket.

Perry, while representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) in Mar,2023, bowled the fastest delivery in women’s cricket, clocking 130.5 kmph.

3. Jhulan Ghoswami

Jhulan Goswami’s Bowling Speed of 128 kilometers per hour.Jhulan, who played for two decades, is widely recognized for possessing one of the quickest arms in women’s cricket. She holds the title of the highest wicket-taker in the history of Women’s ODI Cricket with 255 wickets.

4.Darcie Brown

Australian pacer Darcie Brown created history by bowling the fastest delivery in the history of WBBL. She clocked 127.2 km/h during the match in WBBL 2022. She was just 19 years old when she made this record and also became the fastest women bowler from Australia. She is also now regular member of Australian women team and play for Adelide Strikers Women in WBBL.

5.Lea Tahuhu

Lea Tahuhu is a women fast bowler from New Zealand. She bowled a fast delivery of 126 KPH in the women cricket history.
