1-Quinton de Kock (1st Platinum Pick),2. Mujeeb Ur Rahman(Gold Pick)
Melbourne Renegades signed English Wicketkeeper/Batter Joe Clarke for BBL 2023-24
The top order batter joins South Africa’s Quinton De Kock and Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman on the club’s international roster.
Clarke is the second player to make the move from the Melbourne Stars to the Renegades following Adam Zampa’s switch during the off season.

“We really like the way Joe plays the game. He’s an attacking player from the top who can set up a game quickly and we think he’ll a perfect fit with our other top order batters,” Rosengarten said.

Melbourne Renegades Squad Analysis for BBL 2023-24
Melbourne Renegades has pretty balanced and strong side for BBL 2023-24. Marsh joins captain Nic Maddinson and wicketkeeper Sam Harper as players committed to the Renegades until the end of BBL|13, while fast bowler Kane Richardson has three years remaining on his monster deal. Melbourne Renegades also picked Quinon de Kock and Mujeeb ur Rehman to add strength to their team both in batting and bowling. Peter Siddle also joined the side along with Sam Harper as new additions.
Quinton de Kock will open the batting along with Aaron Finch. Shaun Marsh and Nic Madinson will follow them in the middle. Some firepwoer in the top and in the top middle order. Jake Fraser McGurk, Jonahtan Wells and Mackenzie Harvey will play in the lower order.
Will Sutherland will be all rounder for Melbourne Renegades.
In bowling, Mujeeb ur rehman will open the attack with Kane Richardson. After that Peter Siddle, Adam Zampa and Sutherland will bowl in the middle. Hence a strong bowling line up of experienced pace and spin bowlers.
Melbourne Renegades again has loophole in the lower middle order. All lower middle order Jake Fraser McGurk and Jonathan Wells have lower strike rates and not the power hitter of the cricket ball. Hope their top order will fire till the end to have score above 160-170 at least. Their bowling is enough to curtail the teams below 150 at least. BBL
