Pakistan Cricketers Central Contract and Salaries for year 2024-25
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded 12-month central contracts to 25 men’s cricketers for the 2024-25 international season, effective from 1 July 2024. The contracts have been offered under the structure that was agreed last year between the players and the PCB for a three-year period.
As part of the PCB’s strategy to incentivise, encourage and reward talented and emerging cricketers, five players have been offered central contracts for the first time. They are Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali, Muhammad Irfan Khan and Usman Khan. These players have been placed in Category D.
Additionally, central contract players receive substantial compensation for playing domestic matches, with a fee of Rs628,898 for a four-day match, Rs322,310 for an ODI, and Rs209,292 for a T20 match.
Pakistan Cricket Players will get a share in PCB Revenue from ICC
The players will also get a portion of the revenue that PCB makes from the ICC. That share will be 3%.
Pakistan Centrally Contracted players allowed to play only two Overseas T20 Leagues
Pakistan centrally contracted players will be allowed to feature only in two overseas leagues each season, and earn 50% of international match fee for playing domestic cricket.

There are four categories offered by PCB to Pakistan cricketers.
Pakistan A Category Cricketers Salaries 2024-25
This time only two crickters are given central contract in A category with demotion of Shaheen Shah Afridi in the B category now.
1.Babar Azam, 2. Mohammad Rizwan.
In Category A, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will receive Rs4.5 million as a monthly contract fee. The ICC share, which is 3% of the 2024-25 ICC revenue, has increased to Rs2.07 million monthly, compared to the previous Rs1.53 million. This brings their total monthly amount to Rs 6.57 million.
Pakistan B Category Cricketers Salaries 2024-25
1.Naseem Shah,2. Shaheen Shah Afridi,3.Shan Masood.
Promtion of test captain Shan Masood in the B category now. With deomotion and exclusion of Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf,Imam ul haq and Mohammad Nawaz from B category central contract for year 2024-25. Shaheen Shah Afridi demoted from A to B category.
In Category B, players such as Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Shan Masood will receive a monthly salary of Rs 3 million, including an ICC share of Rs1.552 million, up from the previous Rs1.147 million, totaling Rs4.552 million monthly.
Pakistan C Category Cricketers Salaries 2024-25
This time eight pakistani crickters are placed in the C category. The most lengthy category overall.
1.Abdullah Shafique,2.Abrar Ahmed,3.Haris Rauf,4. Noman Ali,4.Saim Ayub,5.Sajid Khan,6.Salman Ali Agha,7. Saud Shakeel,8. Shadab Khan.
The main exclusion is of Imad Waseem from C category central contract.
These C category players will receive Rs1 million monthly salary, with an ICC share of Rs1.035 million, up from the previous Rs765,000, bringing their monthly total to Rs2.035 million.
Pakistan D Category Cricketers Salaries 2024-25
1.Aamir Jamal,2. Haseebullah Khan,3. Kamran Ghulam,4. Khurram Shahzad,5. Mir Hamza,6. Mohammad Abbas Afridi,7.Mohammad Ali,8.Mohammad Huraira,9.Muhammad Irfan Khan,10. Mohammad Waseem Jnr,11. Usman Khan.
These D category cricketers will receive a monthly salary of Rs750,000. With the addition of the ICC share of Rs517,500 (up from Rs382,500), their monthly total will now be Rs1.267 million.
Pakistan Cricketers not retained in Central Contract of 2024-25

Pakistan Domestic Cricketers Monthly Salary 2023-26
Twenty players, selected by the regions according to the predefined criteria, will be assigned categories as outlined; A+ will get PKR 300,000, A PKR 200,000, B PKR 185,000, C PKR 170,000, D PKR 150,000, E PKR 100,000, F will pocket PKR 50,000.
Pakistan Director of Cricket Salary 2023-26
Pakistan cricket team director monthly salary is PKR 5 million per month or $300 per day with other perks and allowances.
Pakistan Chief Selector Salary 2023-26
Currently PCB is paying Chief Selector is getting PKR 2.4 million per month with other perks and allowances.
Pakistan Head Coach Monthly Salary 2023-26
Pakistan Head coach approximate monthly salary is USD 15000.
Match Fee, Bonuses and Allowances are excluded from this Payment to Cricketers
Match Fee, Bonuses and allowances are excluded from this monthly payment. This means that PCB opened the doors of treasures for cricket players in this central contract from 2023-2026.
Total Tax deduction on Pakistan Cricketers Salaries
There will be 10% tax deduction on salaries of all centrally contracted players.
